Fiber-based Art

My practice begins with the reuse and material transformation of ordinary or disposable materials. I create sewn artworks that explore how a shift in perspective can transform their meaning and value.

My interest is in the domestic sphere and the things we use every day, like used coffee filters, tea bags, and discarded grocery bags. By reconstructing these materials into time- and labour-intensive textile works and sculptural installations, I invite a closer look at objects that are often overlooked or discarded. Through this shift in context, familiar materials take on new meanings, bringing questions of value, consumption, waste, care, and impermanence into focus.
